TEEN HOPELINE ENCOURAGEMENT
A friendship is hurting
Friendship hurt is real. You can care about someone and still need a truthful conversation or a boundary. God’s love is steady even when another person is not. You don’t have to chase acceptance at the cost of your safety or convictions.
Start with God’s Word

Something you can do.
Talk with a safe adult before reacting publicly or sharing private messages. If a calm conversation is possible, describe what happened and how it affected you. Trust can take time to rebuild.
Go deeper: a prayer & a question
A prayer you can make your own
Jesus, help me be a good friend and choose healthy friendships. Give me kindness, honesty, and wisdom about boundaries. Amen.
Something to reflect on
What would kindness and a healthy boundary look like in this friendship?
