TEEN HOPELINE ENCOURAGEMENT

I feel sad or numb

Feeling low or numb does not make you weak, and it does not put you outside God’s love. You do not have to hide it to look faithful. Jesus cares about your whole life. Prayer and appropriate professional care can belong together.

ONE STEP FOR TODAY

Something you can do.

Tell a safe parent or trusted adult what you have been experiencing and ask for help arranging care. If you might hurt yourself or cannot stay safe, use urgent support now rather than waiting for a reading or a chat reply.

Go deeper: a prayer & a question

A prayer you can make your own

Jesus, meet me in this heavy place. Help me be honest with someone safe and take a step toward care. Amen.

Something to reflect on

What could you say to a safe adult that would help them understand how hard things have been?
