Anxiety & overwhelm

When your mind won’t slow down.

You can start here

You don’t need perfect words to explain a difficult day. Worry can feel exhausting, especially when school, friendships, and the future all demand your attention.

A few next steps

  1. Sit somewhere you feel safe and notice the support beneath your feet. Name a few things you can see around you.
  2. Tell someone what feels overwhelming. You could say, “I’m worrying a lot and could use some support.”
  3. If worry is affecting sleep, school, or everyday life, ask a trusted adult to help you connect with a qualified health professional.

If faith is helpful to you

1 Peter 5:7

You can bring your worries to God; his care is not something you have to earn.
